Two more people are now in custody in connection with a theft at London's Heathrow Airport in which 21 people sustained injuries by what is thought to be pepper spray, according to police.
A 24-year-old man, was taken into custody in the Lambeth area on suspicion of robbery and assault and a 23-year-old woman was detained on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery. They both remain in custody, authorities confirmed.
The arrests follow a probe into an attack at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 on Sunday. Before the incident, a pair of female travelers had stolen from them their luggage upon exiting a parking garage elevator.
A toddler aged three was among the injured during the incident. A total of five individuals went to hospital for treatment and have since been discharged.
Police arrested a man in his thirties for suspected robbery and assault near the scene. He has since been released under investigation as the investigation proceeds.
Police were alerted at approximately 08:10 GMT following reports of a number of individuals injured by an irritating chemical believed to be pepper spray.
The assault - which police said was isolated and not being treated as an act of terror - caused delays to rail services and the temporary shutdown of the main airport tunnel and the T3 car park for a short time.
